Week 1 - Modular - what does that even mean?
Welcome to week 1 of our 8 week series on Modern Technology, specifically in the downstream fuel space. This week we'll be discussing modularity and what we mean we say our software is modular - which is different from how legacy software was built.
The dictionary definition is "constructed with standardized units or dimensions for flexibility and variety in use". They key words here, as it relates to software, and specifically TRUEFILL, are flexibility and variety in use. Being modular means being non rigid, easy to work with and serving a variety of purposes.
How this relates to you and our software is it means it's not a one size fits all, take it or leave it application. We have different modules to pick and choose from depending on what part of the workflow you want to address.
Supply management and contracts are causing you grief - great, we have a module for that. Dispatch and logistics is a pain in the ass - great, we have a module for that. BOL matching and delivery reconciliation is a hornets nest - great, we have a module for that. You get the point :)
This is how we're different and why the market is responding so positively to what we're doing. If you would like to learn more, just reply to this email and we'll be glad to get a conversation started.
